Last House on The Block (On the Wright Track)

Last House on The Block (On the Wright Track) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity. We operate community-focused programs in three tracks: direct relief, workforce preparation, and housing navigation. Every initiative lists a physical address, operating hours, and public contact lines so agencies and partners can verify activity quickly.

Relief
Food, hygiene, and on-the-spot service navigation.
Workforce
Transitional crews and short-term certifications.
Housing
Interim safe sites and pathways to permanent homes.

What we do

Direct Relief & Navigation

Outreach staff meet people where they are, respond to urgent needs the same day, and connect them to appropriate service providers. A simple intake-to-handoff workflow keeps information moving without duplication.

  • Public list of sites, schedules, and service focus.
  • Standard handoff notes designed with receiving partners.

Workforce program

Workforce Preparation

We host transitional work crews, short safety trainings, and employer-linked opportunities. Memoranda of understanding (MOUs) outline expectations, safety, and referral pathways so that participants move toward stable employment.

  • Short safety and work-readiness certifications.
  • Warm introductions to employers who have signed MOUs.

Housing Navigation

We support interim safe sites with clear rules, posted contacts, and a defined route into longer-term housing. Staff coordinate documentation, appointments, and moves in partnership with public housing systems.

  • Site rules and contacts are posted on-site and online.
  • Regular case reviews with local housing and outreach teams.
